Richly and cleanly hand painted in dots and strokes of deep rusty red, birds nest amid flowers while strutting their glorious feathers.
The saucer, gorgeously detailed in leaf and vine does not repeat the pattern, yet details another beauty of birds, at rest and spreading their wings, filling the white in splendor. Magnificent and exceptional!

Dimensions: Cup- 2 1/4H x 3 1/2W opening
Saucer- 5 3/4W
Condition: Great. Very light, hard to notice, top gold wear to a 1/2 inch area of the cup rim. Very, very light-one or two-use marks to the saucer well. As this is a hand painted design and we noted a harmless dabbing of red paint to the cup front.
There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The color is vibrant, the detail is sharp, and the glaze is well intact.
